Sources and scope

VehiSales Research analyzes aggregated live vehicle listings from dealer and private-seller sources in the United States. Reports state their coverage period and distinguish listing asking prices from final transaction prices.

Methods and updates

Every report links to its methodology and gives the date or data window used for its figures. Monthly price-index editions are dated snapshots; live inventory pages can change as listings are added, removed or updated.

Corrections

If we identify a material data or methodology error, we correct the published page and note the updated date where applicable. To report a possible error, email [email protected] with the page URL and supporting detail.
